Day 1 was an awesome day for us eager parents. As always there was this nervous tension flying in the air. We were emotionally supported at the time by Edin, Anoop, Diana, Dad, Mom and of course friends and relatives.
Since Edin, the proud and excited uncle, has already posted a great blog post about the day, I will not say much.
How Ayden looked after seeing the world for the first time:
Ayden was born healthy at 6:28 AM on August 27th, 2010, weighing 3.18 kgs.
The best thing that we did was listening to Nafisa’s doctor and celebrating Ayden’s actual birthday with a birthday cake and a ‘Happy Birthday’ singing knife. He he. That singing knife was slightly weird.

We chose the name Ayden for its aesthetic value as we perceive. It is an Irish boy name which means ‘little fire’ or ‘fiery’.
